The Social Media Marketer will help Tacoma City Association of Colored Women’s Clubs share its mission, events, history, and community impact across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, creating posts, writing captions, and helping a community organization stay visible and connected online. This position is remote and includes meeting once a month on Zoom with the Creative Director.
Responsibilities
Create and schedule social media posts
Write captions that reflect Tacoma CWC’s voice and mission
Promote events, programs, fundraisers, and community initiatives
Help maintain a consistent social media presence
Share stories, photos, announcements, and historical content
Coordinate with the Creative Director on upcoming content needs
Experience
Experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Canva, Meta Business Suite, content calendars, or nonprofit communications is a plus but not required.

The Web Content Manager will help keep the Tacoma CWC website current, organized, and easy to navigate. This role supports the organization by updating website content, posting announcements, adding events, and making sure visitors can easily find important information. This position is remote and includes meeting once a month on Zoom with the Creative Director.
Responsibilities
Update website pages with new text, images, and announcements
Post events, programs, community updates, and organizational news
Review website content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
Help organize information so visitors can easily navigate the site
Coordinate with the Creative Director on requested updates
Support basic content improvements that make the website more helpful and welcoming
Experience
Experience with website editing Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, content management systems, basic image formatting, or writing for the web is a plus but not required.n text goes here

The Digital Fundraising Manager will help Tacoma CWC grow support for its programs, community work, and historic mission through online fundraising efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outreach, campaign planning, donor engagement, and helping a nonprofit organization connect with supporters. This position is remote and includes meeting once a month on Zoom with the Creative Director.
Responsibilities
Help plan and support online fundraising campaigns
Write fundraising messages for the website, email, and social media
Promote donation opportunities and community giving efforts
Help communicate the impact of donations and supporter contributions
Research digital fundraising tools, platforms, and campaign ideas
Coordinate with the Creative Director on fundraising content and campaign needs
Experience
Experience with nonprofit fundraising, email campaigns, donor outreach, online giving platforms, social media campaigns, or community engagement is a plus but not required.

Volunteer with Tacoma CWC
Volunteers make the work possible. You’ll help host welcoming community meals, support hands-on workshops, uplift local arts, and preserve the Asberry Home’s living history and tangible acts that strengthen neighbors and celebrate our story. We’ll match your interests and schedule to roles that fit (from one-day events to 2–4 hours a month), provide training and materials, and keep things accessible and supportive. Youth-facing roles include a background check; research, grants, and communications can be done remotely.
